I have this but got it from home depot about a year and a half ago. I am on my 2nd RMA. It's a capable unit that works great with one major flaw. Firmware updates brick it. Like there's zero QA from Ecoflow on their firmware. I would highly recommend never updating the firmware once you have the unit set up.

What are the reasons Ecoflow updates their own firmware in the first place? Do they have release notes?
1. Once firmware updates brick it, is there any way to restore the device (which may involve opening it up or accessing a special port) or the only path is to RMA it?
2. Do they pay shipping both ways?
