Is this some kind of trap item? Maybe Walmart reports sale of these to insurance companies so that they can deny renewal or refuse to cover for fire?

Thx, gonna run my 20,000 btu window unit off this while cutting wet 2x4s on the table saw. Coffee maker and curling iron can be heating up while I work, too.

I have a portable AC. I think it is 12000btu. It does not come with a long cord. Can I extend the reach by using this cable? Like first connect the cable to outlet and AC to the further most outlet in this?

I have never seen an extension cord rated at only 5 amps, even with only one outlet. Hard pass.
