FYI, if you thinking of picking this up know that it doesn't bond well with PLA, including Hyper.

I've seen a lot more negative feed back than good about this particular type of filament. Even at that price, I don't think I'm adventurous to try.

I've had opposite experience myself. seemed to print fine and spools were neatly wound. I do have a coworker who said the spools he got were tangled. I may be the lucky one

Weirdly, it bonds WELL with PETG support interface layers. Keep that in mind so you don't ruin your prints.

I agree with all of the points made here… doesn't bond well to the same type of filament but does bond with petg really really well… don't use petg as support interface material.
That said, if you are doing just single color prints, it's a good filament and the colors are really nice. Just be aware if you are trying to do multicolor stuff or petg supports.

The last time there was a deali on this there's a lot of people complaining about it. I got it and had no problems at all. The colors are much more interesting than most kingroon, jlow, and techbear.. also mine printed smooth no layer lines at all.

several people said their issues were resolved after they dried it . Other say doesn't print well without much explanation, but say with conviction.

It'd be nice to include the fact that this is not PLA. It's mislabeled CoPE.

I heard CoPE is a pain in the butt to print with. How do you know it's that? Is Creaklity selling it off as PLA?

They are selling CoPE labelled as CoPE for roughly the same price - why would this be CoPE as well?

I bought 12 rolls, all different colors, of this for $7.40 a roll months ago and even at that price it's not worth it. All of it came extremely wet and had to be dried just to get "ok" prints. I auto flow calibrated them (x1c) and out of 12 rolls I got 10 different flow rates. I did a pressure advance calibration on all of them and I got 11 different values. There is no consistency at all between the colors. Some left a residue on my build plate, some didn't. Once calibrated some printed great, some didn't. Out of 12 rolls 3 of them were fine, as good as Polymaker/Bambu/etc. 6 were ok.....not great but fine for $7 a roll. And the last 3 are unusable, can't get a decent print no matter what I do. Like Matte Gray is one of the good ones yet regular Gray is horrible.

I have been using them for prototyping stuff at like 0.20 - 0.28 layer heights just to get a idea of fitment. It's all it's really good for and it has actually been so crappy I have now stayed away from Creality filament in general. Save your money and stock up on the good brands when they have a sale.

So there is...PLA, PLA Pro, PLA+, Hyper PLA, Ultra PLA.....
Is it all the same and a marketing scam?
I've only used PLA+ and PLA Pro. All prints were fine except DnD minis that come out with string or are a pile of strings. It's a setting thing I still need to work out.

Not sure where you got that information.
