Price is not especially slick for a 40 gallon tote. I purchased two a few months ago and was disappointed that they don't stack and are pretty flimsy.

I own this and I like it. I store all my hurricane prep stuff in it. I live the lid, it has a clearance and allows you to over fill the tote. I weight 190lbs and I stood on mine and it didnt buckle. It can support up to 220lbs. Its also huge. Totes in general are pricey. This is far sturdier than standard ones. This is for a specific type of person

thanks for the heads up. it was looking at them as trunk for keepsakes for my kids. my mom did that for me. I have a couple of my favorite stuffed animals, elementary art work, baby cloths, hospital band, hair from first hair cut and what not.
