I bought one 3 weeks ago when it was posted. Arrived in about a week with sturdy packaging. Be sure to have a way to get rid of a big pallet and large boxes. I already submitted a warranty ticket after an airbag connection let go. After a short email conversation, I just added a zip tie and it seems to be holding. It did take them a week to reply to the support ticket. Biggest regret is I wish I could try all the models prior to purchase. I will say this brand looks better constructed than others on the youtube videos after taking it half apart to make the repair.

unfortunately SD is lately infested with those "I got it and it's been Great!" accounts lately.

Bought a titan Optimus chair from them a few years back and I use it daily. The rollers broke within the first year and they shipped the part and had a tech come out and fix it covered under warranty. Would buy from them again

I bit. Wife is going to be so pissed. I called her and told her I'm buying a piece of furniture what color do you want black, brown, taupe and she hung up on me. It's going to arrive in a couple weeks taupe it is.This price with free shipping and no tax just way too hard to pass up
She'll eventually forgive you as she's using it every day.

I bought one Osaka massage chair for my parents couple of years ago from ClearanceChair, pretty sure not exactly the same model...they love the massage chair and it works flawlessly. Shipping took a tad bit longer and they delivered it at the doorstep (bringing it in was a challenge for parents, but it worked out)

So far the zip tie has held and will consider the issue solved. The claim was through the clearancechair website which linked to the main osaki website. The chair I received was brand new in the box from the factory. For $1k it is worth the risk, but I would never pay close to retail for one of these.
So what I hear you saying is, it broke within 30 days and they wouldn't stand behind it and you had to fix it yourself. And you're OK with that? I'm definitely not buying from them

Yes, it is shipped via freight and will be delivered on a plastic pallet. Bought a similar one for $799 2 years ago. It's pretty big so you need at least 2 people to carry it in and usually comes in 2 pieces, otherwise it would be impossible to go through the doorway. Assembled it's pretty sizable and heavy, don't be thinking you can easily move this around when assembled.
I would definitively recommend if you like massage chairs. Haven't had any issues, so well worth it IMO.

I bought one a few weeks ago. Wife has been using it non-stop. We were commenting that we wish we bought a second one / now that its another $300 off, picking up a second is a non-brainer.

I would assemble it to move it. You can tilt it backwards and there are two wheels that help move it around.

I see for $1699 at Osaki website. So is it really that big a deal?

Thanks for sharing claim information. The Osaki chairs catch my eye every time a deal at or under 1k pops up for them. I have a few questions,if anyone that has purchased one or just knows the answer...I assume it's 1 year limited manufacturer warranty included for necessity of repair do they work with local 3rd party repair service centers or how would one go about getting their chair repaired through claim process after the initial phone call and vetting for coverage etc ..is there any promotion on purchasing additional years from Osaki director?( Besides putting it on your Chase Amazon, Flex, or other credit card that has additional warranty year added if paid with card). how long more or less can one expect this chair to last if used on a regular base within normal household and assuming a mystery electric fail doesn't take it out at 11 months 29 days ownership. thanks in advance for your help guys!p.s. I know it's not recommended or advertised as salon chair but wondering if user has detailed incline settings to set at 90 degree to use for pedicures

Code not working even though it's in the title on the website. Copy pasted it from here and the website several times still says invalid.
I just tried it and it worked for me. I didn't sign in or anything

YMMV, of course. I got mine this past Christmas. The issue I got was the noise it started to make screeching noise when reclining. First tech couldn't find anything. Month later, second tech discovered one of the airbag's wire was laid in wrong way and made the noise under the tension. In the meantime he broke the left armrest and it too the company 2 months to dispatch someone to repair it. Overall it took them 4-5 months for them to fix everything that was broken.
Obviously just got paid lots of money to post this Smilie))
