The cover of the magsafe came off mine when the phone was being pulled off. The piece is just glued. You can be gentle on it by twisting, sliding, etc rather than pulling straight off.
I contacted ESR and they sent me a replacement. The one they sent me was refurbished, not new, and had a noticeable coil whine.
The tiny detachable apple watch charger has come in handy a few times.

Weird that there are no notes about the wattage other than the phone. On their website it looks like it's 5W for the watch (since it's "separate"), but since they aren't saying, I have to guess that the 15W is shared between the phone and base. I suppose most people doing an everything stand don't really care about the speed, but I like to at least know it.

Thanks for that detail. I'm taking a gamble on it, hoping it will have a strong enough magnet to keep my quadlock phone case attached without falling off… some of the comments seem to indicate that it's a pretty strong magnet – what do you think?
