It's a great deal on the 16GB version of the 5060 Ti; the only downside is that the Ventus 2X is the lowest-end model, which means minimal overclocking capability and cooling. However, a 5060 Ti is a 5060 Ti, no matter what.

This is only 8x scaling and designed like that. Good for pcie 5.0x8. You can't set it to x16. Hope this helps!

How does the MSI compare to the PNY 5060ti deal from Amazon for same price?
Might just be me but I tend to stay away from MSI. I would get PNY over msi and I believe PNY is the only nvidia GPU that still does RMA in US if I am not mistaken?I prefer zotac, PNY or Asus imo. (I know Asus has history about rma but some reason all the Asus stuff I have still last)

When you're coming from a 1070 or 2080 - it's a bit of a step up and it is new. If you're not willing to pay the ridiculously out of whack (current) market prices for the high end (or more likely) you have no need for the highest end GPU these <$400 16GB cards fit the bill perfectly.
Waiting for the chance to spend $1000, $2000 (or more) on a gaming card... I'll let those with more disposable income than financial sense spend that money Smilie

Wow! 11 thumps up but 0 comment? Very fishy! This trophy should be around $139 or less...or liquidated the dam thing since no one is buying it!
If your budget is $139 for GPU, PC gaming isn't in the card for you.
Disagree. A Vega 56 is still plenty capable.

Should i upgrade from a Zotac 4070 dual fan to this? The price is tempting.

Always check if your store has any in stock. My local store is sold out of the MSI model, but still has limited stock for the Zotac model as of this post.

I'm not a heavy gamer. I still mostly do 1080p. Having said that, I bought a 4060 last May for $310 after tax (my 1060 kicked the bucket). For a newer gen Ti model and 16GB RAM, $370 looks like a good price from my perspective.

Just because you consider the price high or view it as a big upgrade from your current GPU, that does not change the fact that 60 class is in the low end of the RTX range.

That's like saying that because you're poor, or don't see the value in spending more, or that it will get you from point A to point B just fine, that a Nissan Versa is high-end car.

Not sure if you're trolling, the 4070 you have now is better than this card:

Man, now 5060 ti 16gb $370 vs 5070 $499...... is the 5070 worth $130 more?
Well, yeah kinda 42% better (average benchmark score) at a 30% premium. It ultimately depends on Use case , but the money is there

So bold, yet so wrong. The actual, real world metrics tell a VERY different story. I'm guessing you know far less about PC building, and definitely about how to effectively do it without just throwing money at it, than your ego makes you believe. Please never build a PC for anyone, you sound like you'd be doing them a disservice.

It's red tag $200 dollars, don't be gullible for a slight price drops. They are making money on corporate sector.

For 4k gaming, high settings I'd probably want the 5060ti for 16gb. For most competitive shooters and such, probably the 5070 and 12gb would be plenty for that. Would it justify the extra cost of about $130-$180 for a 5070? Probably not. Sweet spot in value to performance goes to the 5060 tu 16gb and if you want to step up from that, get the 5070ti at around $250 more than this 5060ti as prices continue to drop.
