im still a noob in the game, but from what I have read, this is generally considered amongst the best starter level machine. I am still holding out for the newer Gaggia Pro, but this seems like a good deal.

CCC shows it hit $340 December 23 last year (for the blue one at least). There is no guarantee it will go that low again.

"Inflation" guarantees this will not again see the $340 low seen 9 months ago but I'll still hold out and wait to see what that special Friday brings.

I got the Damson Blue after black friday "Used-Like New" from Amazon Resale with 20% off which ended up being $307.16 + tax.

It arrived without the original box but everything was included and unused. There was a small learning curve after watching some videos, but I use it everyday and cannot go back to Nespresso. Even with cheap Lavazza beans, I think it taste better than Starbucks.

Absolutely recommend the Bambino Plus!

I have a pro tell me to start with this one too. He has been using one for 2 years and is now looking to upgrade to a $2000 machine (Lelit). I just bought this one with this deal to get started.

I got mine for that price just after Christmas last year so if you're able to hold off it could be worth it.

It's honestly great, I have a Rancilio Silvia Pro X machine but often turn to the Bambino because I don't have time to wait for it to heat up.

I paid $400 last black Friday. The price history shows that it never goes below that, at least not at Amazon.

I agree. Breville has managed to suppress/bury the outrage, but tons of customers like myself have fallen victim to the new design features that include paranoid solenoids disabling the whole unit when sensing moisture incorrectly, etc. I've sent mine in twice, but after the warranty expires soon, I'm toast. Known issues include the temperature sensor beneath the frothing pitcher getting false flags, shutting down the whole system. But there are numerous other problems; I usually end up initiating a brew cycle more than once until it finally kicks in.

I didn't go for the Gaggia Pro because of pricing and also the automation of the Bambino Plus, but now I think should have just kept using my Duo Temp unit that wasn't so dependent on these stupid inaccurate automation sensors.

I see that when I turn on the 3rd party seller history but who knows who the seller was, what their rating was, how many machines they had, etc. Could have been a single machine being sold with "open box" in the description by a sell with 60% positive ratings. 😂

$400 is the lowest from Amazon and all other major retailers.
