Despite the description saying "oven and stove safe", don't use this on ANY stovetop. The product is ceramic and it's meant to be used in the oven, not on the stovetop.

All the reviews showing the product broken or "exploding" specifically state they had it on the stovetop.

I have the large pumpkin and the large tomato shaped ones, and have used both in oven and on stovetop more times than I can count, so I have to disagree with you here...

I use these for oatmeal every autumn. They act as serving ware, not just bakeware. Good for keeping in heat, due to the lid.

I have the large pumpkin and the large tomato shaped ones, and have used both in oven and on stovetop more times than I can count, so I have to disagree with you here...
The large ones are cast iron. I have one and use it same as any Dutch oven. These are ceramic novelty pieces, best for oven and serving.
