Samsung EPP/EDU program matches this price and has $1 upgrade for 2-year warranty if you have access to that.

This is the same as the G95SC but without the TV OS. That's a benefit in some ways and a negative in others since its more annoying to install updates.

You need to move up the 57" QLED to get better PPI in a similar form factor. Or move to the 32" 4k.

I'm not a gamer, but I value fast screen response, vivid colors, and good imagery.

I was contemplating this monitor, but rtings.com seems to like the Dell UltraSharp U4025QW and that has a 4K resolution which is a huge step up over 1440p.

What do you guys think between this monitor and that one?

Very different monitors, apples to oranges and aimed at very different markets. The RTINGS review really tells you all you need to know. IPS, bad response time despite 120hz, very poor local dimming (and HDR). It's better calibrated and better suited for office and professional work, which is what it's targeted at.

Get the G9 if you want OLED picture quality and are ok with OLED drawbacks. Get the Ultrasharp if you need it for productivity. Get the 57" Samsung if you want a compromise between both (still worse picture quality than OLED but much better for media than the Ultrasharp).

Aspect ratio is very different and the Dell is an IPS.

It ain't bad, but the 32 inch 4k's are nicer. I use the 4k's with my windows PC and a 91 like this 93 with my mac. On Mac with 125% scale it feels decent - though I have to use side by side double inputs to use that smaller scaling factor.

If you want my final verdict. I'd say wait if you are looking for the ultimate monitor. 1440 pixels isn't enough vertical space and the PPI is at an awkward level for hidpi usage.

But for games and general use, it's nice. I'm just picky. I'd be a lot happier if this was 900R curve sized like two 32 inch 4k monitors.

The lack of curve on these double wides is annoying. There's barely a curve at all which makes it less usable when sitting close.

I'm also waiting for the "ultimate" monitor since if I'm going to be spending this much money to replace my current 3 monitor setup (ok I'll probably keep one of them off to the side) I'd rather wait.
IMO mini-led 4k at 32in is pretty great, or like someone else mentioned go up to 57in for an increase in PPI.
I noticed that recently the Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) went on sale for $1500 on Amazon (it was over 2k back in April) so that might be the next best option?

I can't complain really. Dual 27 inch 2k qd oled monitors with 144hz for $600? That's not bad. I just want them at 2x resolution and a bit larger. It does look nice and sometimes I use it to watch those ultra wide movies. I would never consider an LCD monitor over oled so that 57 inch is a no go.
