I'm not even a fan of Westerns but I really enjoyed this series. Anson was fantastic as Bohannon and so was Colm Meaney as Durant.

I love this show, I've watched it a few times. I felt like it went a bit off the rails later in the series, but still like every bit of it.

This is an absolute bargain for this show. While Deadwood was far and away the best western based show of recent memory, Hell on Wheels is definitely top five in my humble opinion.
