not a bad mouse but I prefer my razer orochi v2 to this. My thumb doesn't have to reach as far forward for the side buttons on the razer and the quality of the side buttons feel a lot better on the razer. I also find this logitech mouse to wants to slip out of my hand easier since the razer has more of an eggy shape.

software: Logitech > razer

obviously most of this is subjective but this is a good deal!

Just bought open box a few days ago for $20. I should have sooner. I resisted wireless for a long time. This is good enough for moderate gaming and lasts long enough on a charge. I had a G403 brand new in box and after reading that it has to be recharged every 30hours i was not impressed. I still love my G303 and it is still the best mouse shape ever made, but this G305 will do for when my cat has to lay on my mouse cord. I only play blizzard games now so I can't really comment on competitive FPS.

G305 is a dollar cheaper ($28.99) at bestbuy. G305 no longer qualifies for the recycle program from Logitech though so no extra 20% saving opportunity anymore.
