Great price with the SC9S. Note that the C5 does have 50% higher peak power consumption than C4 with marginal overall improvements. Since C4s are hard to come by C5s are a great choice espeically with longer software updates

Unless you need a 34" 240hz OLED and the speaker, you're spending a lot. I was thinking about it too but I already have a 240hz 32" Alienware and no need for the speaker.It's a lot of value, but you can spend less for just the tv.

I was looking for a new bedroom tv and comparing this C5 to the Sony XR8B from 2024. The 55" models are both $1099. Any thoughts on which is better?

Any thoughts on the SC9S? It doesn't have rear speakers. I have never seen the SPT8-S rear speakers come into stock, and it's not available anywhere but overseas.

Samsung 9.1.4 is 3.1.1.1 times good. That said pls consider buying Q990D/F . Worth for the price.
