Most coolers like this, the user has to pre-cool by leaving icepacks or ice in it for 12-24h before actually filling it with the stuff you intend to keep cold for 4 days.

These look cool in person and they come in many colors.
The reason I did not buy is because the two front "T" locks are a soft foam that I fear will brittle and have a short life. Metal buckles would be cool beans.
I have had this exact cooler since 2019 and it's still going strong. The rubberized T lock latches are still working great and show zero signs of wear. Use it as my daily lunchbox! Would buy another in a heartbeat if I had need of one.
I have several coolers. I don't need a cooler that keeps things ice cold for 7 to 10 days. But, this is the one that I have been using the most to keep things cool (2 to 3 days) especially during the Summer. Highly recommended.

I purchased one of these last week, the yellow one for $60.61. It arrived on Friday, and I immediately filled it with ice and drinks. The label claims it retains ice for around four days, but my experience was quite different. By the next morning, most of the ice had already melted. On day two, there was just a bit of ice left, mostly water. By day three, it was completely gone. The cooler was kept indoors, away from direct sunlight, sitting in my living room the entire time. Based on this, I'm skeptical about the advertised four-day ice retention as it barely made it past day two.

I've used the larger version of this for the last 4 years with many many trips to the beach. Saltwater exposure. It works like the first day I used it.

Personally I'll buy my drinks, then put them in my cooler, then put the cooler in the spare fridge. It's always ready to go.
Is it likely this will go even lower for Black Friday/Cyber Monday? Guessing this is like a final clearance before new model is out? Been posted a few times in the past few weeks but used to have more colors available.

If you are only considering calories, I think fat people eat more. Body builders eat more volume wise. It is hard to pound down 5 pounds of chicken breast daily to match the maintenance calorie of a 300lb person.
