I heard the EPA reversed the mandate for these types of gas cans. I never liked the spring-loaded nozzle idea, myself.

I got this a couple years ago for $18. I really like it. I use it for my string trimmer gas.

I'm partial to the 'Easy Can' - the thumb-button nozzle is super quick/easy to operate and won't spill a drop once you let go to close it. I like that they don't have the big honkin' nozzle/spout like many other gas cans (including this one).
I think I've had mine for probably 7+ years now and it's still doing great. Valve mechanism got a little 'stuck' recently but a couple drops of oil got it working right as rain again.

These cans work great, especially for small engines where smaller tanks are prone ot overfill. I have two, a one-gallon and a two-gallon. Contemplating buying another.

Or Florida. I live in CA, and no it won't ship, but I saw something at Walmart that was similar for $10 (5 gal), and I'm somewhat confused as to why Walmart can sell it but 'zon can't. I never did understand how what little vapor escapes using small gasoline cans could have any significant impact on air quality, when there is no leaded gas being sold and China spews coal particulate into the atmosphere (earth rotates, west coast gets China's pollution) that eventually ends up in our air. The forest fires we had last year caused enough pollution to negate the air pollution efforts of 5 years. CARB has lost the plot.

I hate those, prefer the palm-style Scepter ones way more. The smaller button on easycan sucks when you're using it to fill a generator

To each his own, I guess.
Took a quick look at reviews - those Scepter ones have significantly lower review averages, with a much higher ratio of 1-star ratings. 🤷

I have the 5 gallon version, and when I press the button, it leaks at the button. Mega annoying, I've kept this can indoors in my garage so it's not 'weathered' or anything.

Interesting, maybe they break after a while? I've been using a 2gal scepter for my motorcycle so I don't have to make as many trips to sam's club to refill and it's been great. I'll come complain if it breaks I guess 😂
