Update: 10/9/25 it's $25.15 now This is on deep clearance, the original price was $49.99 and it went down to $39.91 when this was first posted.

Greenworks 82V (AC/DC) 2500-Lumen LED Work Light Tool Only!

I've been eyeing this light for a little while at $49.99 and it finally went on sale today. Between the sale price and coupon discount the final price came down to $39.91 which is about 20% off. I hardly see their 82V commercial line go on sale.

About this item
【2500-Lumen LED Light 】LED provides 2500-Lumen of light output. Perfect for worksites and camping.
【AC/DC Power】Greenworks 82V work light can be powered with the included AC adapter or with 82V battery.
【360° Rotation】360° adjustable rotating head and wall mountable design allows for full light in any space.
【Cushioned Over Mold Grip】Lightweight body and comfortable grip make it easy for carrying and holding.
【Greenworks 4-Year Warranty】Greenworks 4-year tool warranty and 4-year battery warranty protects

Update
Personal experience: I can confirm the 80V battery (Gen 1 the taller/longer battery and Gen 2 battery) will work, but I can't guarantee long term use whether it will cause any damage to the light or the battery.

Does it use the 80v battery or 82v is a completely different line?

From what I could find you can't use 80v batteries with 82v devices without modifying them. The batteries inside are the same, but the housing is different

Possibly regional? I still see the 10% off box.

It's $35.93 now after the 10% off coupon. Went down $3.98. I just received the light tonight and it's very bright. I only have one 82V battery so I may have to mod a 80V battery in order to operate a second light.

I got around to play with it a little more and noticed the 82V battery notch is the same as the 80V Gen 1 4.0ah (long version) is the same and my other 80V batteries. I am able to use the 80V 2.5 and 4 ah batteries I got from recent Greenworks deals. I have to go do some research to make sure it's not going to damage the 80V batteries in the long run before buying another light.

Edit: typo

That's awesome that the 80v batteries fit without modification. I guess I shouldn't have trusted Reddit threads on that one . If I had the coupon, I'd give it a go since I have older 2 & 4ah 80v batteries. It's a bargain since the 80V version of the light is $100.

Edit: I see the $35.93 price now without a coupon. If you have a business account, it drops to $34.03 for quantities of 2-4, $28.xx for 5-9, and $25.xx for 10 or more.

I bought too early, I wish I knew 2 for $28.xx each. I would round up the neighbors to get 10 at $25.xx each. $25 is a killer deal. I was able to grab an 82v 4ah battery with the 760 cfm blower (Condition: Used - Mint) for $165 after 35% off. Much cheaper than buying the battery alone. First time seeing Used - Mint, I usually see Like New.

It's down to $25.15 each. They must be clearing this out.

Moderator, can you edit the price to $25.15 after clicking on the Conpon Price box? I can't seem to edit the price. This is a great price for the light. Thanks.

Just got mine yesterday. Work fine with my first Gen 80v 2ah batteries. I still don't see this price/coupon on Amazon, but for me the business site is still offering the quantity discounts. Have to order 10+ to get to $25.

I'm happy because even at $34, they're still way cheaper than the 80v version and I get to ditch my old halogen ones that are like a space heaters

Try a different browser and see if the 30% off coupon is there.

In the past, CS tells me that they don't price match their own and told me to return and do a rebuy, so I went ahead this time and saved myself $$27.22 on the two orders I had. I gave them back 2 unopened boxes.
