$10.71 shipped, Ive seen it at this price before. Wished it was 519a in 5000k instead Id be all over this. Or a sc13 519a with 18650 battery version. I know, Wurkkos Wk03 has it in 519a but its also $17. 6500k is just too white for my preference.

I've never felt more stupid than when I come come into a flashlight feel comments section. Could someone please direct me to a primer or idiot's guide to flashlights so I can understand all the terminology and lingo and features and stuff that you all talk about? I keep seeing references to reprogramming your flashlight and having all this control over the UI and I just don't get it so if someone could explain, like I get tinkering, I have six 3D printers so I'm not unfamiliar with tinkering for the sake of tinkering, but what really can you change on a flashlight?

Copper SC13 is coming out this month... SFT40, buck driver, Anduril 2, screwed in deep carry clip. 3000k and 5000k versions. Slightly taller than SC13.

I see:

$8.94 for green
$9.23 for black

both w/ free shipping to the US.

Same basic stats as the Wurkkos WK03:

1800lm
217m throw
18650 btty

Slightly different shell, but the rest seems identical.

If you've never used Ali Express before (or have, but are not logged in), the price you're seeing includes a "Welcome Discount", which is typically more than promotional discounts.

There are two WK03 models: SST40 (same as this light) and 519a.
The SC18 is similar to the WK03 SST40 model. (But, much cheaper with this promo.)

Sure: https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/wiki/index/

Happy to answer any specific questions. This model isn't particularly complex, and doesn't require "programming" like some lights with the Anduril operating system.

(EDIT) Example of Anduril: https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlig...chart_for/

You could add sofirn hs10 for $14.33 which brings total to $29.18 then apply an additional $4 off code: CDUS04. Total shipped both sc18 & hs10 = $21.95

But do I really need more flashlights?

Pretty sure I do not, considering I don't use 60 of the 70 I own. (doesn't mean I won't buy more though) Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Different emiters (the computer "chip" that actually makes the light from LEDs) have different qualities. The higher the kelvin number, the bluer the light is. 6500k is slightly blue white, where 4k is very neutral and slightly yellow, 2700k is very yellow and similar to old maglights or incadscent light bulbs.

Different emitters also offer different CRI levels, this is how accurate of a color you see. Imagine a guy dismantling a bomb and needing to cut the orange wire, but theres red, yellow and orange. With a low CRI level all three colors would look more similar vs a high CRI level the colors would be very distinct.
