If you have a Sam's Club membership already, this goes down to around $22 a month. This whole price hike just blows.

OP are you looking at the latest conversion or am I missing something? MS page says Xbox Game Pass Essential converts to Ultimate at 40% now. Not 2:1.
https://support.xbox.com/en-US/he...onversions
- Xbox Game Pass Essential conversion percentage: 40% of your remaining time will convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time and be rounded up to the next full day. For example, 90 days remaining of Xbox Game Pass Essential will convert to 36 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time.
It looks like MS just reduced the conversion rates again. It used to be 3:2 (or 66.67%), then was 2:1 (or 50%) and is now just 40%. BOOOOOOOOO!I thought you can only stack up to 36 months. How are you doing 42?
36 months is the max. The 2:1 conversion of Core to Ultimate is only if you don't have an Ultimate Subscription. It's worse if you just add to an existing GPU Sub. Therefore, in order to get this price per month you need to wait until an existing GPU Sub expires so every time you do this you will be limted to the 36 months Core converting to 18 months Unlimited.
