Imo, 38mm is perfect for many. These days most of the deals seem to be for the larger sizes. The smaller sizes (or what used to be called normal sizes) are harder to find deals on. If I had $700 for a watch now, I'd be really tempted for the black dial one.

Yeah and that aesthetic generally implies a larger, sportier, "chunkier" watch. Divers generally wear big; that's the implied style/aesthetic. You don't get a petite diver watch to slide under the cuff.

Very few people that buy diver watches actually dive. They just like the aesthetic.
