These are probably closeout units. Razor wasn't long in this business and if you look at the Amazon reviews you can see why. There's not a ton of 3rd party reviews on them either.

Odd that these are junk and the Corsair RMx was so highly touted the other day, according to the PSU review database they're both made by CWT.

Having said that, no surprise in the reviews about the lack of Razer's technical/customer support, I've seen so many horror stories about them that I'm inclined to never give them a dime of my money.

Exactly. As much as they use other quality parts they always seem to have huge quality and support issues which is really too bad. They'd totally get a significantly larger amount of my money otherwise.

I'm kind of wondering if they told CWT to use their lower end components for this PSU vs. that Corsair, but regardless, as mentioned if their support after the sale is garbage then I'm not giving them my business. Service after the sale is definitely a consideration IMO.
