i have a few of these and great price here under $8 (these are better than similar 7" from hanes). they are made well, hold up to washing, the "C" tag may fall off after a while, since there is a waist string i would size higher not smaller (i buy L underwear but XL shorts). these have pockets but i do not depend on them as i mostly wear these as loungewear, not running to the store for milk, so i can't comment on that feature.

check the size chart before ordering, it not typical for most shorts.

The waist string on these doesn't hold up well. I have several pairs with the same problem
