Same. I remember thinking this was amazing. And then every now and then I'll grab a can from the store and it is just absolute sadness and disappointment as strange sandy, granular meat mingles with this cartilage goo that tastes like boiled hooves.

Not the same product anymore. Not even close. Don't know how they could ruin it like this since it was barely decent to begin with but they did. And the tiny 15oz can is a huge shrinflation blow to boot. I won't buy even at $0.50 a can.

That sodium tho. If you drink a lot of water does that balance it out?

This has the highest protein content for price beside tuna I can find for a quick snack. Too much cheese my body hates so I cut that out. I like the hormel bean less turkey chili an the Kroger brand but they often don't get to this price. Iirc the non turkey chili makes heartburn happen.

This brand is mostly flavorless but this specific highest protein one has a slight Italian sauge seasoning taste. I dump the sauce out or reuse it which gets rid of a lot of sodium I bet. The fact it's mostly flavorless means you can flavor it or if you like water; it's already good.
It's not bad it just has no flavor. Which is better than bad.
