There is a minimum. It has been at least $10 before taxes.
You can always ask price to be adjusted to $10 so you can use the certificate, in case you are buying something less than $10.

How do you use the certificate? I don't see the certificate on the check out page and when i enter the certificate code it says that its been discountinued?

btw - I figured why I wasn't seeing my $10 cert in my account, somehow I had multiple accounts with the same email address so they had to merge them. they said it would take 3-5 days but it seemed instant and then i used.
