Both are meh, but Hisense offers more value for the money, bigger screen and supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, also just a little bit more brighter. But Samsung is better in terms of built quality and reliability. I would go with Hisense +30$ 4 year extended warranty.

I don't think that's true with these cheap panels. I have a 65 inch that I haven't even taken out of the box that I am returning because I have read so many bad stories about these cheap samsungs.

I heard more complaints about Hisense, but agree with you that maybe cheaper line of Samsung are not that reliable after-all.
