This is a great deal for this TV, so long as your not suspectable to jutter. I bought one from Costco with the upgraded screen and after a month I had to return it. The picture is amazing to be honest, even compared to my LG C5, it's really good. The firmware and processor however, are not up to snuff.

This is actually listed on Costco.com as the "Pro Series". Someone left a 3-star review saying Costco took away the matte screen and now it's so reflective that it's "unwatchable", even with window treatments closed. They returned it because of the reflective screen.
I'm going to Costco to look at it with my own eyes before making a purchase.

The Pro version is the Costco version which has the glossy screen. It's not listed differently, it's a different model.

The matte screen they're referring to on the non-pro at other stores is only 85" + screens, so this 55" would be a glossy screen in either variant

Looking for a bedroom TV. This TV seems to get high praise for the money, just don't know how disappointed I'll be when I have a nice LG B4 OLED 65" in the family room. To this day I still say how much I love that TV every time I watch it.

If any of you want to jump down the rabbit hole of glossy vs matte, be my guest. It's deep. This is what "TCLExpert" posted last week at Best Buy when asked what the difference is between the 65QM6K and the 65QM6K Pro Series:

"The main difference is that the 65QM6K Pro features a more advanced Crystglow HVA panel with an anti-reflective matte coating, which significantly reduces glare and improves viewing in bright rooms. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support"
It sounds like the Costco version isn't supposed to be glossy if the panel has an anti-reflective matte coating. Additionally, this was in reference to a 65" model, not an 85" screen.

I went to look at a 65" today, but almost left with the 98" because that's all they're stocking at our two closest Costcos. In fact, if you're interested in the Pro Series, their website or app will let you know if the size you want is available at your local Costco before you drive there.

I give them credit for having COD on the 98" screen and Back At It Again blaring. For $1599 and a 5-year warranty, it was hard to walk away. It didn't seem to reflect much when something was displayed on the screen. When it went dark, it was like a perfect mirror. I snapped these two pics from the side, same angle. Looks like the TV just disappears!
