I got one of these for this price a few weeks ago. it's decent enough, printed fine and have printed enough to realize I really do enjoy 3dprinting and could justify a bigger investment with a more robust option 🤣. I splurged and got a bambu X1C and love it... but it was basically 10x as much. for this ender, I did spend extra upgrading...led light bar, "run out" sensor and bed plates. although it still works ok, the quality of prints and print failures are less ideal now that I'm spoiled with the bambu.

If I started over I'd personally skip this and after factoring in the upgrade cost (not a lot, to be clear, but all the little parts add up), it wouldn't be much more to get one of the 3 or 4 really decent printers going for really low deals right now (under $300) on eBay or AliExpress... or even their own websites and posted here all the time.

If you just want the cheapest option out there, to see if it's something you'd like to spend time with, or want something more "disposable" for the kids to abuse is hard to beat this price.
