The Insta360 X5 is a completely different camera. You'll get better standard footage out of the Ace. But the Ace can't do 360' footage, so they are not really comparable.

Anyone have thoughts on how this compares with the GoPro 13? I know that bundle comes down to $350 these days (up from $299 last year) and I don't really need the handle that comes with this kit.

sounds like there's a best buy bundle that has a an Uber eats discount that is about $280. I didn't dig into much into the comparison against the GoPro 13. But you do have Costco return policy if it doesn't hold up well vs the GoPro 13.
