This is a good price if you don't have access to LG's Partner website as that has had the 65" for ~$1200 with a free soundboard and Bluetooth speaker

This or the S90F? Also considering the QM8K but I love my 42" OLED so not sure what would be best. The two OLEDs seem to trade blows according to Rtings..

Depends on your use case. If there's any kind of light that can hit the screen, even if it's not direct, the Samsung is gonna get the dreaded purple tint and raised blacks.

Is Dolby Vision a concern at all? If so, the Samsung doesn't support it.

Is DTS any use to you? If so, the LG doesn't support it.

Gaming? It's more of a toss up. But the S90F will (IMO) give you more "wow" because QD-OLED's in general have more "pop" and "wow" versus a regular WOLED

Is this really true about the S90F? It's the 2nd highest rated TV on rtings.com. I can't imagine that it's anywhere close to being that bad. You make it sound like it should only be used in a dark room.

I've only had a QD-OLED monitor, but it was pretty bad. Just Google, "QD-OLED purple tint" and you'll see plenty of posts on Reddit.

It's why the matte coating exists on the S95F. But that opens up a whole new can of worms lol

Is this promo still available at LG's partner site, I can't seem to find it any longer with the soundboard.

The "trend" I've noticed is that the deal comes every month and lasts 1 week from when it starts. So give it a few more weeks and it'll be back
