I've tested a 2x2 5 Ghz router against a 4x4 5 Ghz and it doesn't matter too much if 5 Ghz is congested as I lived in a city. Even 2x2 6 Ghz is better as it is barely usef at all. 6 ghz also has several channels which can be up to 7 different ones used for 160 Mhz bandwidth and 3 different 320 Mhz and the 320 Mhz alongside 2.5 Gbps Ethernet was worth it for my within the house SMB file sharing for photo and video editing. Same SMB server also has PLEX running and I can stream 4K HDR even with AV1 decompressed to H264 videos while my TV/media box streams it using 5Ghz. I kid you not, sometimes, the decompression runs the bandwidth at 100-300 Mbps and the network doesn't hitch the other devices while my other family members do their own streaming, playing and social media. 2x2 is more than enough if you have less than 20 devices connected to each band so I'd rather have a 2x2 triband than a 4x4 dualband which my SMB and Plex was a lot slower even with 160 Mhz wifi 6 dualband.

You don't need this router for 300mbps internet. A friend of mine uses an ASUS XT8 (WiFi 6) with 400mbps internet, no problem whatsoever keeping up. And that's a 5-year old router.
