Dont see much value in this over the cheaper Gen 2, unless you want to add batteries.

Plan on using this in garage / shed with solar panels, and leave AC connected for night time recharging.

From what I read, the Gen 1 will prioritize AC charging, not able to have simultaneous solar + AC... but the gen 2 states it does support. Anyone with real world experience on this?
