I'm pretty well-versed in these as I use them daily. Bosch's hands down the best, but of course the price is insane. I truly recommend getting them off AliExpress. A $40 one on AliExpress is well worth the trade-off of losing a very small quality increased over a $600 Bosch.

If you look at AliExpress, though you'll learn, there's a couple choices. It's because they all come from the same factory or two. There's only three or four models and then the sellers like this just change a very small thing, like adding a pointless screen that increases the price by over $40.

If you need one, go to AliExpress, get a 16 line, and look at the ones that cost $30-$60. That's peak value.

I have a Bosch GRL4000 rotary level ($2,500ish) and one of these fanttik levels. I set them up side by side in my house. At 50 foot distance there was zero difference in the levelness between the two. The Bosch has a far longer range but for your typical homeowner this fanttik one is a damn good buy.
