My take on the two - I would pay the extra $100 for the R7 over the R4 every single time. The R4 has slightly more range and is based on a newer design (it's a R8 without arrows), but, the R7 has arrows and that makes all the difference. The R7 already has more than sufficient range IMO. There are metro areas where you'd even want to reduce the sensitivity.
