This deal is for Casein Protein. The gourmet chocolate flavor is for their whey isolate.

Just wanted to point that out to make sure you didn't miss that and weren't buying casein by accident.

Everybody should consume both. Arnold downs a 50g casein shake every evening before bedtime (spiked with Austrian Schnaps in his case😜).

Arnold does it, so I should do it! Can't argue with that logic

Arnold does it because casein takes 6-8 hours to digest while whey takes 2-4 hours. That's why baby cows drink 20% whey, 80% casein. They achieve robust growth on that diet. Casein is best before bed time. I even like it during the day. I don't get hungry as fast.

Just had my casein protein with a shot of vodka. For real.

I think it is a good price. I just paid more per pound for casein without all the extra junk, just a bit of sunflower lecithin. I can't handle fake and undigestable sugars. It takes 36 grams of this stuff to pack the same protein as 30g of what I bought, so this is about 17% extra stuff, not protein. 17% more to choke down. A decent amount of sodium in this as well. I'd want to avoid that.

Casein seems best for protein ice cream. I used to buy quest casein blend but haven't seen good discount in awhile

i wish they offered unflavored without all the chemical sweeteners... Closest is Bulk Supplements 2.2 lbs (33 servings) for $27 after $5 S&S coupon. it's nearly identical price per serving, for a healthier option:
Servings 33/50 = 0.66
Price $27/41 = 0.659

Sunflower oil in protein powder now? Such garbage. You'd have to pay me to drink this.

I don't see any 5 off S&S, and S&S is a PITA. I got my nuturionix off of ebay. It also has some sunflower lecithin in it, which makes it dissolve easier AFAIK. There are no issues with sunflower lecithin in from all I have read. I drink it with kefir water, so if there are any changes to my gut biome, they would not matter as I'm constantly replenishing said biome.
