IIRC sonos adds a processing delay to its line in inputs, so it wouldn't work very well if you need the audio to be synced. From what I've seen the only way to be able to use a sonos speaker with the PC with no delay would be a sound bar.

I would stay away unless you have Sonos ecosystem and you tickled to have device that can act as bluetooth bridge. Speaker underwhelms where it matters.. controls/interface, volume battery.

Not dead. I just got the deal. Pretty sweet depending on the condition of the unit when it arrives. Already have one roam and a house full of Sonos so this is great for me thanks.

This device is useful to connect your other sonos speaker via Bluetooth. This act as a bridge. Other sonos speaker doesn't support Bluetooth connection so this is one way to solve that.

I would agree with all of this. I quite enjoy other Sonos products but in my experience, this one isn't worth it. And mine have died almost immediately after warranty expires.

i just received mine, it should be roam2 from the title, box is roam2 but actual device is roam 1, there is no bluetooth button on the body

Same happened to me and the only option is to return it. No replacement and the deal is dead now
