Health provider here. Therabreath generally has low staining potential though some TheraBreath products contain CPC (Cetylpyridinium Chloride). CPC does have the potential to cause some teeth staining (low but non-zero chance over time). These include TheraBreath Healthy Gums Oral Rinse. If you care about this datapoint, avoid their products that say, "Fortified with the periodontist recommended ingredient CPC".

Consumer here. Tried this, and not only did it feel like it burned my mouth, it gave me horrendous heartburn, dry mouth and the final straw was it altered my taste buds to where I couldn't taste anything. It took me a couple days to figure out what was going on, but once I stopped, all the symptoms went away. I tossed them in the trash and contacted the company.

Actually, I didn't even use as much as recommended. Read the reviews on Amazon, I'm not the only one. Just an FYI, as I had always wanted to try this, but, wow, it did a number on me.

I love this brand. It makes my mouth feel fresh and cleaner. It doesn't burn my mouth like how the listerine ones do. I never experienced any of the symptoms you're stating so it could just be subject to your own mouth (didn't know how to phrase it lol).

This flavor is horrible. I think they took the rainforest mint a little to literal as it taste like minty tree bark. 🤣

And I can use Listerine with no problem. I do think it's subjective, but it is interesting reading Amazon reviews, many people have had issues.

I'm so torn with this brand. The first Therabreath I tried was the yellow bottle (fresh mint) and it was legitimately the best mouthwash I've ever used. Then I bought their mild mint version, and it was so repulsive that I couldn't even give it away to friends - nobody would take it after trying once. The best description of it from a friend was that it somehow tasted like the smell of a public bathroom urinal cake. Kind of impressive in a way, that their products have such a broad spectrum - ranging from the best mouthwash I've ever used all the way to the worst. In for another set of the yellow bottles at this price though!
