Note that the picture of the cherry desk is not the correct image; that's the Magellan corner desk. It's actually an L-shape desk that looks like the ones in espresso and honey maple.

The $199.99 combo price is also advertised [shoplocal.com] in-store and the $40-off-$200 coupon is printable [chtah.com].

Remember to apply both coupons...something I missed and online chat will only tell you it is in store only.

Great Deal!

I have this desk. Nice desk, but my case (P180) was too big to fit inside with the drawer still in.

The depth of each section does not look very deep...probably under 24". I hate shallow depth desks, especially when you try and put a 22" or larger LCD on it. I wish the specs would say the depth of each section instead of one as a whole (581/2). 29" depth is a good sweet spot for me.

Thanks OP been waiting for a deal like this. Ordered the cherry and for some reason it came out to $140 delivered for me. Really wanted the honey maple because I did not like the shape of the cherry, but that hutch is oos already. The cherry picture looks different but has the same dimensions as the other 2 so I am thinking the picture is wrong. Hope so at least.

For my order the hutch is on backorder.

from what i could find (which wasn't much)...
i got this from a review on some random site Smilie

"The depth of the two desk areas are 30" for the main desk and 19" for the return. "

Bought the desk and hutch for the same price a year ago in espresso. It is a nice unit. I agree; don't plan on putting your tower in the desk. Ventilation is horrible and it is a small space. Fine for other storage though.

This deal comes up about every 3-4 months... got one last time, the desk looks great and heavy. But it still isn't hard wood, so is prone to chipping/ breaking when accidently hit. My box also had few broken pieces and it was a pain to get 175 lbs of stuff together to exchange at OD!

I have a dell 24" and it fits just fine.

Agreed. It's a great desk with a decent finish. It looks WAY more expensive than it is (at least for this deal). But as poster says, don't try putting your tower in it - the ventilation is abysmal, unless you carved a big hole in the back or something.

Also, I used the hutch as a standalone piece, in fact. It actually looks nice on its own!

Oh, one more thing: bring along at least one strong friend to help you moving the box it comes in. It's ridiculously heavy.

Is this an online deal. I've been trying to order it but have been told that it is in store only. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks
