I purchased it for $170 on Prime Day in the summer. Looks like this beats the lowest it's been.

I was in the hunt for a $9.XX per TB deal and as a hot tip, if you have Uber One, you may have a $40 off coupon. I used it at Best Buy on a 24TB Seagate that was 'on sale' and got it for $225 or so, same day. Would check it out to see if you have that offer.

This is a great deal if you need a moderately large drive.

I've said it before, I'll say it again - think hard before you put anything less than a 20tb into a NAS (shucking this of course) and you're a media hoarder. That NAS real estate is precious.

The listing at Amazon included a 10% cash back offer for using a Prime Visa card, making the net approx $145.
What is the basis for saying these drives have a max 5 year life span?
