got one on a deal from Walmart earlier in the year. Had to return after a few trips because the lid would just pop open in certain temperatures. I had to use a bungee cord just to keep the food cold.

Why would anyone go camping with 60lbs of rice?

Different use cases. Also, would be hard to wheel a cooler this big anyway.

More interior space. You can get wheel kits for them that strap to the outside.

Mine had the same problem but would not close at all, even when sitting on it. Something must have expanded because I took the hinges off and it still would not close. Unfortunately I was too slow making a warranty claim and Coleman was useless after 12 months.

I'd rather get 2 60-70 qt coolers. Much easier to move when filled. 102 cans and 60 lbs of ice is heavy. 51 cans and 30 lbs of ice is much more manageable.
Multiple smaller coolers > One big cooler. However, this is a good price for what it is.

This is going to be perfect for me. When hunting elk quarters just won't fit in the smaller 70qt coolers. This is perfect for keeping those long items nice and cool!

Hunters and maybe some deep sea fishermen are the couple exceptions I could think of. We usually do a non-alcohol cooler and an alcohol cooler for picnics and get-togethers. $50 is a great price for what it is.
