Looks like a good monitor but several reviews cite an invasive software built in by MSI that will automatically shut down the monitor for 10+ minutes to preserve itself. This can't be canceled in any way shape or form.

Preserve itself from what?
That's something I've never heard of about any monitors.

OLED is not ready for PCs

Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2024
Style: MPG 341CQP QD-OLED 34 Inch 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD) 175HzVerified Purchase
I mainly use my PC for gaming and watching movies so I am always looking for the best screen possible. I thought it was time to move up to OLED from what I was hearing but OLED is not ready for PCs.
So the main issue is the panel protection built into the screen. It is beyond annoying that every 4 hours the screen will shut off no matter what you are doing and the only thing you can do is wait a few minutes then turn off the screen then back on. It will not turn itself back on, even when I updated the firmware that was supposed to fix that.

Great monitor. I have enough computer to push a comfy 120hz at 4k. The features like PIP is useful for multitasking. The glare protection is good. No complaints.
