Because almost everything does? We're at the point where so many things get the p65 warning that nobody can tell you what its referring to anymore.
In this case, its mostly likely something used to package it.

So I want one of these for my daughter for an Xmas present. I just picked up the one from a couple days ago. I think it's the creami 15in1 was just over $100 (used like new on big forest website) Any reason I should return and spend nearly 3x. I don't inherently mind the used like new but am always looking for a SD of course.

I'd say no, I have a ninja creami deluxe and I love it and make ice cream almost every night, but I could not convince myself to buy this. The only extra feature from the regular is the yogurt machine part. I just don't see it being worth the extra money. The regular version still comes out smooth as long as your ice cream recipe is good, so at most you save using a spoon every time. But it's more cleanup, and with ninja creami in particular I've found that I already need to do extra cleanup, because not all of their parts are detachable. So In the case that your daughter cares about cleanliness of the machine, she would have to figure out how to clean both parts. I just wipe the creami nozzle and run it again with a container of hot water right after. But from the looks of it the new one would have more work

Or they never paid to get the stuff certified so it needs to carry that warning because California sucks even though it may contain nothing.

But if one does not already have a ninja creami, this isn't a bad deal at all.

I habe original 7 in 1 and it usually comes put soft serve texture especially if using pudding mix and guar gum. personally I prefer a harder, dense ice cream. it's been hard to to get it.

Picked up a Whynter yesterday to supplement my old fashioned electric bucket style ice cream maker. ~$156 for "used like new" with the warehouse coupons they were offering.

Also waiting for a deal on a Lello 4080 as it's pretty much the best you can get for home use... But it's pricey, so going to wait it out.

Some resources I've come across recently...

Only if she prefers soft serve. I have a creami, but would own this because I love soft serve. Cuisinart makes a soft serve machine that affordable.

I am not seeing the $70 Costco shop card mentioned anywhere on the page, is there anything I am missing?

It's all about preference. For me, there is nothing better than soft serve ice cream. Unfortunately, most of the soft served ice cream that you buy is made from a powder mixture. With the Swirl, you control the ingredients so it can be as natural as you want it!

This is a great deal as it comes with a $70 Costco's gift card basically bringing the price down to $219.99. This is the lowest price that I have seen for this machine BRAND NEW!! Plus, you get the Costco guarantee!

This is an excellent product for anyone who loves soft serve and wants to control their ingredients or calorie/protein ratio while enjoying a treat.
