You can get alixpress ones that have replaceable nozzle tips for around $15, same as m4 bambulab replacement type. Works perfectly on mine.

I recently bought this printer and have been very happy with it.

Word of warning, though! Aliexpress 'Free Returns' are a complete SCAM. They will not honor it. If anything is wrong they will make you pay for return shipping, which on an item like this is quite expensive. Buy at your own risk.

Outstanding price. Look out for nozzles though, they are proprietary and very pricey. Like $30 a piece.

EDIT:

Pulling any of my recommendations for Flashforge. They have come out on record that they are monitoring what your print at home and will alert the police if they think you are printing anything illegal

Dont support this police state garbage:

That is a good thought about PETG vs PLA, I normally lean towards PETG by default but worth a mention. Never dipped my toes into ABS though.
I initially did everything in PETG, but the air nozzle duct eventually deformed and started sagging. I re-made just that one part in ABS, and it's been fine ever since.ABS is a tougher material to print from a warping standpoint (requires an enclosure), but not as bad as nylon or PC.

I'm brand new to 3D printers and printing so excuse my basic questions. What is the difference between this and one that says it has color besides the obvious? Would this be a good machine for someone just learning? Thanks

Just for a point of reference. I did not know a thing about 3d printing when I bought this. I have been able to just hook up the PLA filament and print the models I found online. The filament did get stuck a couple times, but it was very easy to take out the hotend/nozzle to cut off the stuck piece. I still have issues with PETG, but I now have a dryer running. Hopefully it will get good results.

Hi everyone! Newbie who wants to get into 3D printing for fun, D&D things, and also tinkering! What is the difference between this and the Kobra 3 deal that does multi-color printing? Aside from the multicolor, of course. And would either of them be a good starting point for a beginner? What is your rec? Thank you!

Look up Flashforge ADX5. I believe it's been on sale for about 265 in the past. Search in on youtube, it can be upgraded to full enclosure.

FYI when I clicked the link I also got the 'item can't be shipped to your location' on the page But when I found the post from my app while logged in I added it and had no issues that way.

@Ramsters

Yep, 1.75mm size filament would be what you need.

Start with 1KG of PLA, PLA+ to get accustomed to printing.

As for brands, I'd stick to a few well known ones since you're beginning, like Inland (Microcenter's in house brand),eSun and Polymaker.

They may be a bit pricier but they're worth it for the first time. IMO better quality, reliable filament. Everyone will have their own experience with different brands and you'll see what I mean as you start printing more.

As you get used to printing, if you want to go cheaper, you can go Sunlu, Kingroon or Eryone.

If the printer doesn't come with a pair of flush cutters, you'd need to buy some. It's for cutting the filament, removing supports and or cleaning up a print.

I'd recommend something like Hakko CHP-170 for $5.
