Yeah I was surprised when I stumbled across it. I've began to offset my bumper plates set with cast iron. For machines you can fit more on the weight horns and they are easiser to handle/carry 2 at a time. The 35lb plate is also the perfect size for pendulum/gravity based machines like leg curl or bicep curl machines. You put the 35lb plate on the arm stop post to make the weight horns arm start at a ~30 degree angle. Makes the resistance curve start from the beginning.

If Wal-Mart/ FedEx delivery could ever actually deliver something to my house instead of "a" house within a mile or two, I would order these! Six deliveries in a row is enough.

I've read your sentence so many times and can't figure out what you mean haha.
You got a picture of this or something?

I'll try to take a pic when home but for gravity/pendulum based machines like this leg curl machine, there's a stop post behind the weight horn arm circled in the pic to keep the weight from going back too far. On that post you put a 35lb plate which makes the weight horn arm stick out at a ~30 degree angle, so your resistance starts from the beginning of the movement vs 30% of the way into the movement.
I should have noted depending on how much weight you stack, you may need to put a counter weight on the back your machine if you do this so it doesn't tip forward when you aren't sitting on it. My pendulum based machines all have a weight storage horns on the back so I throw a plate on there to prevent tipping.
