For those who don't know resolution based on "WQHD" etc. this is the 1440p monitor, not the newer 4K version.

So you mean a resolution my GPU can actually run? 😄 joking aside, until I can afford a 5090, this is the one I'd get if I were in the market for one.

Have you seen it in store though? It kinda looks horrible for most use cases because the PPI.

Got this $265 at BB as an open box Clearance. Otherwise I'd wait on the 5K. The PPI claims are legit heh.

Imo 45" is too big for 1440p unless you like to sit pretty far back.. I have a 1600p 38" and I want more pixels, can't imagine less at 45".

Horrible is a strong word. I would just say, don't buy this if your use-case isn't gaming/media consumption (what it's marketed and intended for).

I originally had a 49" Samsung which was too wide for gaming. I then went to a 39" LG OLED which was nice but wanted 4K. So went down to LG's nicest 32" 4K model, but felt a bit small in that resolution. So I tried this 45" one and couldn't get used to the size maybe due to the limited resolution. Now I'm on a 32" 4K QD-OLED which looks much nicer than LG's WOLED imo. I feel the sweet spot would be a 39" 4K QD-OLED monitor, but manufactures are retarded.

The claims of resolution impacting overall enjoyment of this one are legit. Got one at BB outlet for about $500 to use at work. Much prefer the Samsung 49". Will be returning soon and planning to use the Galaxy XR instead.
