This is a near-perfect configuration. The x86, Jasper Lake CPU provides reasonable horsepower for Chrome OS. The associated 8GB of RAM ensures its ability to support continued updates to Chrome OS as well as more advanced applications (like the Linux development environment). The 1080p screen facilitates productivity as well as media consumption.

About the only feature missing is touch screen functionality, though that would be hard to find at this price point in even a refurbished model (at least without compromising on one of the earlier strong points).

Not that I would expect this laptop to do all the things a $1000+ one can. I do, however, focus on practical utility (for the things I do) no matter the cost.

Not thread crapping, but be aware of the absence/no mention of a backlit keyboard. I made the huge (for me) mistake of buying a slightly better spec system, only to realize Ctrl+space bar did not light up at night. I loved the battery life, configuration, screen, and everything else so much that I settled and did not return it.
You don't know you need a backlit keyboard until you have one and then, you can't go back....

Just got mine off this deal. Overall not terrible, but it's also hard not to have the feeling that perhaps I should have spent a bit more for something nicer.
-screen is atrocious, dim and washed out, can't see anything if you're looking from above, reading texts on websites feels like a chore
-I liked that it has the number pad when considering the purchase, but the keys are super tiny, you can see in the photo they're narrower than the arrow keys, feels like they shouldn't have bothered at all. Not sure why so cramped on a 15" laptop
-Wifi can be hit or miss, this was noted in Amazon reviews but so far it's workable in my situation.

I definitely wouldn't want it for the "full" $249-330 price, trade offs are reasonable for the $107 price point I think.
