I have these. Pretty nice set but definitely I wish I purchased the set and not individually as they changed the mechanism to lock the weight and one set feels really easy to twist and the other is a PITA.

I have these and they were $100 each at my local Walmart at normal price. Once works great. The other sticks. So much that when I select the entire weight and lift the base is stuck to it as well. And sure enough the logo and red color are slightly different. One is a newer model. Just like the other post warns.

Damn, I didn't realize this was an actual thing. I also have one that twists easy, and the other feels like it grinds almost and is difficult to turn.

Be sure to check the ones you get early.

The 10-90 lbs version from the same brand has an on going recall suit due to the weights falling off during use

Sorry this is late. I'm using them now and just remembered the post. The ones pictured above are the bad ones. On the base where it says the brand name in gray. The older good one has the x in red. Another way is if you look at the caps at the ends new bad ones have screws visible. The older ones don't. Hope this helps and isn't too late. Sorry again
