If this was like $400 cheaper is might be worth it. No reason to buy this when you can get a 5080 on sale in a similar price range

Can you provide a link to a 5080 at a similar range because I was searching SD, MicroCenter, and BB, and all 18" 5080 laptops are $2500-$2900 right now.

Edit: Cheapest 18" with a 5080 I can find is $2800 from a noname brand, Thunderobot? on Amazon.
