its cheap, but what a strange configuration. I dont understand what about this laptop puts it in the Pro category. It has a small battery, and a terrible display panel.

yeah, MSRP is questionable, but this is a solid laptop for $500, or even $400 after amex offer. I doubt someone can find an aluminum body laptop, with latest mid-tier CPU (released in 2025) and 16GB DDR5 7500 MT/s, USB-C charger. The only thing I wish it had 1TB SSD option.

This is not a $1,300 laptop any day. However, this is a pretty good laptop for $500 bucks if you need one.

New Intel & AMD AI CPUs are supposed to be very efficient. Manufacture claims 12hrs of video playback or internet browsing with a 55whr battery. (Spoiler alert: it will run Teams for only 6 hours 😂.

As far as screen goes, it depends what you do. Most people cant tell the difference on 50" screen between 1080p and 4k. On 16 inch laptop screen it will be almost impossible to see that difference. A lot of people with bad eye sight are utilizing 150-200% scale on their laptops and cell phones 😂.

Here is the Google answer in regards to Pro lines:
Dell established its "Pro" line to simplify its commercial product strategy, clearly differentiating professional-grade devices from consumer-focused ones. In early 2025, Dell consolidated its legacy brand names like Latitude, XPS, and Precision into three main tiers: Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max.

Pro likely meaning "commercial" like office workers. Most of them, especially when company is leasing don't get good screens as it's viewed as a waste of money.
