12000 mAh for a vest is too low. Depends on the weather though. If you are in a place where temparature doesn't dip below 40, may be good enough.

That's absolutely crazy 🤣
I'm a mail carrier...I've been buying these for a few years. I haven't bought any yet for this winter because I finally found a worthwhile heated vest late last winter after going through 3 different brands of these. Pretty sure a manufacturer or two in China make these to which various brands purchase and throw their branding on to them but in the end, I had the same result...within a few months, they'll stop working. Thing is though that when I was buying them, they weren't nearly this pricey. I wouldn't even consider spending $50 let alone $80 for these. Spend a little more and get one that will actually work for awhile. Ditto with heated socks. Spend more, get a worthwhile set that is actually warrantied because they will die, and you'll avoid the experience of spending good money on a product that goes bad within a few months.
Edit: I took the time to find the one I'm using. Ironically, it's on sale for less than I spent and for less than this crap being advertised here. If you want a heated vest I've had a much better experience with, look up the vest from the brand "Dr. Prepare" on Amazon.
Edit: I decided that I wanted to upgrade my heated vest. My Dr. Prepare is still working but has started turning off randomly with 2 different power banks. Shame but it did last longer, seemed to bit higher quality, and even now, it is still functioning unlike the others Ive had go bad. I upgraded to a vest from Duluth Trading...has a 1yr warranty and after that, can still be returned under the right circumstances. Ran me about $120 but was normally $200...haven't actually received it yet but from what I'm seeing, it should be a good upgrade. Just figured I'd post this and give folks needing a heated vest another possibility.

What a rollercoaster of a post. You went from scoffing at spending even $50 on one of these to dropping $120 on one from Diluth 😂

I know it seems crazy but if you used them like I do, it probably start to make a bit of sense. During the winter when I'm out on the route, I'll be wearing a heated vest for 8 hrs or more 6 days a week. The trucks barely have heat...basically enough to defrost the windshield and keep it that way. I'm 140lbs so these vests are very important to my ability to do my job...I literally can't function out there without. It's not like I beat the vests up working in them but I definitely have enough time with them that they get put thru their paces. My Dr Prepare vest is still working and I'd recommend it over this one here but I can't afford to fiddle around out there and Ive spent enough money on vests that die or stop functioning correctly that I just decided to invest in one that should be a step up in quality. On Amazon, the return window for the vests seem to always be a month and they would all last that month. Maybe not much longer than that but each one did make the month. With this Duluth vest, it has the year long warranty plus they will take back reasonable returns after that year supposedly. I figure I'd have went thru 2 of the cheaper vests and maybe more this winter which basically gets up to the cost of the Duluth vest that should be better. What I'm doing wouldn't make sense for the average person or even the average person seeking a heated vest and I'm all over the place so I get you but there is a logic behind my madness.

I could of used this right now, but not full price. I just lost my KastKing vest from a previous deal. Worked well.
