And you're still not learning that it was because of an application that wasn't listed in Windows Defender? And you're still not learning that it affected a handful of devices, not all of them? And you're still not learning not to comment the same thing on every AM PC thread?
There wasn't any firmware virus to begin with. It was only a handful of models, and it wasn't malicious. They used a bad Windows installation ISO from a supplier that came infected (probably downloaded from some sketchy torrent). Bios embedded firmware level malware, although hard to remove, their cases are extremely rare.
People like to blow it out of proportion because talking down Chinese companies is low-hanging fruit.

I almost pulled the trigger on this, but it doesn't have OCuLink. I have a old 1080 Ti and a 3080 Ti just sitting around that I would like to use and I don't feel like doing a build just to use my old GPU.

With AceMagic pc's just run a clean Windows install and you are good. Since, I always upgrade the hard drive anyway. I just take the original SSD out right out of the box and put it away.

You talk like everyone here has an agenda. The original comment may not be fair but you are way overreacting.

It seems too new to have any reports of failures yet. The heat problem combined with the mini pc tendency to fail doesn't bode well though.

Edit: If you go this route, the drivers can be found here https://acemagic.com/pages/driver...CxM_Gu
I used the W1 Driver. Install them though Device Manager. It also looks like their is an active Windows Pro license on here too. Not bad.
