Sharkbite 1/4 turn Angle Stop for 1/2" pipe 3/8" compression $5.88 at Home Depot.

This is a decent price on quarter turn angle stops in SharkBite. $5.88 Lowes had the same listed for $12.48. https://www.homedepot.c
this is the best local price I have seen. I'm aware that there has been some more recent Amazon prices similar to the 5.88 but they've expired I think and we all don't have prime to get something next day if we really needed it.
One thing you should be aware of is that these only have a 2-year warranty and 125 psi rating. The new ones that are roughly $14 the max line which is 400 psi rating 25-year warranty.
But the one benefit of using a push on connector that you can see is that they're quick to change. While some would say that soldering is better or even compression, compression messes the pipe up and soldering underneath the sink is more time consuming and a pain.
So even if these don't last, at this price you just pop one off and put a new one on. This is specially convenient when you have hard water and forgot to move the shut offs every once in awhile. Even these will seize up if you don't keep moving them. But at least when you have to change it it's an easier change.
The representative told me that they don't have a designation for these on the shelf and that they weren't supposed to be sold Maybe because it was going to be a special buy but I don't think that's true. I think they're just phasing out the 2-year models for the max model.
Also, I found that they had the straight version of this for the same price. 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect x 3/8 in. O. D. Compression Chrome-Plated Brass Quarter-Turn Straight Stop Valve https://share.google/dcXrhlaPCrSs7Et
Note: these were not on the shelf and not in every store. But for an example one home Depot had 37 of them.
I could not find them and the paging for help did not result in anyone showing up but since there was a ladder nearby I started to climb it and look on the top shelf and there was a full box.
Of course by me climbing the ladder. It sure brought them out of the woodwork telling me I couldn't climb the ladder.
